Name of the Resource Person: Dr.Shelja k.Juneja (Associate professor &Head, department of environmental science) IIS ( Deemed to be University).

Objective of the Event: The objective of the activity was to help the students know about the various support initiatives organized by the University for overall student development.

Description: The Commerce & Management Department of IIS (deemed to be University) organised the DAY -10 organised an Orientation program for the students to introduce them with the Various interactive sessions in IIS (Deemed to be University).

The session was started by  Dr.Shelja K.Juneja Ma'am wherein  she introduced the new students  about various interactive sessions organized by IIS University. she also familiarises students about various startups  that will help them in boosting their knowledge. She introduced about various activities like In house publications, Holistic development. She also guide students how to enroll in all these activities.She also Motivates students to do More and More participation in all the cultural activities and co- curriculum and extra curriculum activities. She also familiarise students about IISU placements, Various Activities,guest lectures held in University.She has a experience of 25 years in IISU.She also gives a brief introduction of All the activities in University.

After the session mam conducted a fun activity in class for the students and told us whomsoever will win this unscramble quiz will get choclates.

Students started solving the puzzle and there were three winner's of the activity mam distributed them choclates.

Over-all the conclusion of the session and activity was to make aware students about the University and it's various programmes and support initiatives .

Outcome of the event: The session was very informative. The students gained knowledge about various programmes and support initiatives.
