The Department of HRM & IB, The IIS University, Jaipur organized an insightful industrial visit to a well renowned company ‘ Jaipur Rugs’ on 30^th August 2017, Wednesday for the students of  Faculty of  Management, Semester I MBA HR, IB & RM. The journey was initiated under the supervision of  Dr ShrishtiAggarwal & Dr Poornima Sharma.

The formal welcome was facilitated by Ms. Himanshi Singh (Asst. Manager- Research and Communication) . She acknowledged students with the presentation including the short description about how they work as a facilitator for Weavers & Clients. She also introduced Sir N.K. Chaudhary and how he started his journey of  building such a huge empire with the support of his children : Ms. AshaChaudhary (CEO & Head of Jaipur Living Incorporation), Ms. ArchanaChaudhary (Quality Supervisor), Mr. YogeshChaudhary (Head of Marketing & Sales Dept.) &Kavita Chaudhary ( Designer of Brand ‘Kavi’). She also informed students about 3 major branches: 1. The Jaipur Rug Foundation- dealing with Health, Education and personal issues of Weavers, 2. Jaipur Rug Company- dealing with manufacturing and sales, &Jaipur Living Incorporation- dealing with the USA clients. She briefed students about the successive core values of her organization namely Integrity, Humility, Empathy, Shared Wisdom &Saralta.

She also acquainted students with the information about the training programs such as ‘Sensing Journey’, ‘Weaver’s Engagement Program’, ‘Rural Field Immersion Program’ etc. The presentation was full of knowledge pack which made students aware about the practicalities in organization.

Further the students were invited to see the office and feel the ambience of different working areas like- Map & Graphic area where Miss Himanshi practically explained the process of technicality, Weaver’s Zone where one of the Weaver was knotting down the Rug and which made the students more enthusiastic about exploring the visit.
