- Introduction:
- The Alumni Association of IIS University of department of H.R.M. & I.B. organized "ALUMNI DAY OUT"- a programme to facilitate, consolidate and coordinate Alumni Activities at College. The planned objective was to interact with the alumni, planning future events, conducting alumni satisfaction survey, taking alumni feedback etc was conducted successfully.
- The program started with the Welcoming of department by Dr. Ankita Jain and she introduced the faculty, guests and talked about the achievements and developments in the college, followed with the speech of Professor M.K. Sharma (Dean faculty of commerce and management).
- The words of the sir were truly inspiring and make a long lasting impression on our mind and influence persists beyond college and becomes the beacon of light, guiding us through the journey of life. Good teachers play the role of a parent, providing encouragement, inspiration, and valuable guidance. We always remember his charisma, enthusiasm, and knowledge. Often, our best memories of college revolve around a great teacher, who inspired and changed our life.
- The eminent Alumni from 2006 batch onwards were present for the meet. The Alumni were enthusiastic and gave an overview regarding their work to the current students and faculty members. The Alumni interacted with the faculty members and also offered to help the current students in whichever way possible in order to make them affluent with industry culture. The Meet was successful as the Alumni appreciated the overview given by Professor M.K. Sharma about the department since inception. The faculties appealed to the alumni to encourage and motivate the current students. Also, the alumni were ready to Mentor students through college initiative by Alumni Association.
- Games are an integral part of a student’s life. A student should study hard to be successful in competitive examinations. But, he should also play games and sports to enjoy the health and vigor of life. The game session was full of effort, energy and enthusiasm which helps in developing physical and mental skills, competitive, discipline and confidence factor.
- The refreshment session was full of fun and all were sharing their loving memories of college canteens which took a special place in a college life of all students.
- The ending words of Dr. Roopam Kothari was like a valuable guidance teaching us to believe that nothing is impossible. With words of inspiration, persistent training, and rigid discipline, she steer the students in the right direction.By setting the right example, she impressed upon us the importance of self-reliance, instead of expecting help from others. She taught us to build on our strengths and be responsible for our own successes and failures. Thus she open new avenues, and encourage students to explore and achieve their true potential.
- Overall the meet was successful and fruitful results of the same will be seen in near future. The event was stimulating and enjoyable and simultaneously profitable as all members shared their views ideate and good numbers of new ideas, information and insights came up. The association is hopeful to run and successfully structure and position itself into a fully functional platform for department Alumni. The alumni Association sincerely expressed its gratitude to the honourable professor and for his guidance and support to make this event a grand success.
