Extension Activity

The department of management - HRM and IB of The IIS University organized an extension activity for the students of a government school on 23rd February 2016. The activity aimed to enhance the knowledge of the students regarding business plan. Students of MBA-HR participated in the activity. 5 students of semester four of MBA-HR along with two faculty members took initiative of visiting the school and imparting the business skills. The two hour session in the school covered a teaching session wherein students of 9th and 10th grade were taught all about business. Information about business plan and its essentials was shared through a presentation. This teaching session was followed by live demonstration of a small business venture. They were taught to make chocolates. A few students who participated by interacting and giving answers were also motivated by goodies. They were given chocolates in form of goodies. Being a part of management course, sharing business skills so that these students could be motivated to grow in future and flourish a great business venture was the main aim of the activity. This activity was well executed and all the members who participated were successful in achieving their aim.
