Objective of the Event: The objective of the activity was to help the students know about International Cell of the University and its relevance in contemporary times.
Description: Department of Commerce & Management of IIS (deemed to be university) organised a orientation Program for Post Graduate students on 15th September2022.
With the warm welcome, Dr.Radhika Sharma (Coordinator International cell) familiarised the students about INTERNATIONAL EXPOSURE.
She enlightened about the objective of international cell, collaboration and funding, global ranking and positioning, diverse social cultural environment, global employability and skills , research opportunity based on comparative perspective.
She highlighted the expected activity of IIS TIE with international cell in formulating policies, strategies, design action plan , assistance to foreign students, faculty exchange, designing international programs etc.
Further she also aware the students about some program organised by international cell like Indian Higher Education Knowledge To Canada 20th-26th 2019 ,FICR-TEAS 2020 etc .
She concluded with the importance of incorporation of this paper to syllabus so as to make students aware about the new challenges to the legitimacy of international law, including vertical and horizontal challenges, and the challenge of ideology and power.International organizations have helped to transform the substantive content of international law and helped generate a‘participant revolution’ in the making ofinternational .
Outcome of the event: The session was very informative. The students gained knowledge about global education and employment opportunities.
