Objective of the activity: To teach students about the significance of communication and how it may help them advance in their careers.

Description: A wonderful workshop on “Transform your communication, transform your life” was conducted by the Management Department of the IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur. The session was more than just about communication; it was an eye-opening discussion on how communication is the key to solving all of our business and personal difficulties.

The session began with an engaging activity about counting the number of ‘F's in a phrase, which taught about different points of view and how they might result in different outcomes. Ms. Meeta also talked about Glossophobia, which is the fear of public speaking. She talked on how individuals are afraid of speaking in front of an audience for a variety of reasons, including self-doubt, lack of self-esteem, and lack of confidence. She offered a few strategies for overcoming this anxiety, including recognizing the fear, re-framing obstacles as possibilities, and changing one's view point.

She also included a formula that may be used while giving a spontaneous speech. PSB stood for "problem, solution, and benefit." She demonstrated the aforementioned formula using a live example and a subject, which helped the audience grasp the concept.

The session concluded with a Q/A session in which students submitted a few questions, which Ms. Meeta expertly addressed. It can be summed up as an informative session for all the participants.

Outcome of the activity: The students got a thorough grasp of how communication can help them in their professional endeavors. They also gained knowledge on how to overcome their phobia of public speaking.
