Workshop on ‘Virtual Engagement: Post COVID-19’

Objective of the activity: To enhance the beneficiaries social skills by allowing them to better use their technical skills and knowledge for effective virtual engagement in post COVID era.  

Description: The Department of Management: HRM organized Workshop on ‘Virtual Engagement: Post COVID-19’.  The speakers of the session were Ms. Sneha Suryawanshi- Operations & Marketing Associate and Aditi Bhadharge- Assistant Manager- NGO Team. The speakers highlighted how working in collaboration with community organizations will enable students to use and enhance skills, competencies and knowledge in a real world capacity, which leads to an enlarged and more fulfilling educational experience. They conducted two activities:

Activity 1: Students were asked to fill the Volunteer Position Description form. They were required to outline responsibilities, support and benefits of specific volunteering opportunities.

Activity 2: DIY Paper Pen Making

The workshop was very informative for students. They understood the importance of community engagement and also explored various social volunteering opportunities they can undertake for community welfare.
