The first industrial visit of YUVA members for the session 2017-18 was organised to Dev Milk Foods Pvt. Ltd on 23^rd Sept, 2017 in which 44 students participated. Dev Milk Foods Pvt. Ltd manufactures markets & sells its products under FruBon brand (Ice-cream, Cookies, Bread and Rusk). The visit gave a lot of practical information to the students about various aspects of production, marketing as well as the operation of a company.

The plant is divided into two parts: Bakery plant and ice – cream manufacturing plant. Students were divided into two batches and taken to both plants alternately. They were explained the production process of various bakery products including cookies, breads, Rusk etc in the Bakery plant. Also, there was an introduction of various machines like dough making machine, loaf maker, fermentation chamber and rotary oven. In the ice-cream plant they were informed about various ingredients of ice-creams and its production process. Students were also taken to the Quality control Department and explained about Quality Management at the plant.

After the visit to both parts of the plant there was an interactive session with Senior Manager of the plant where the students asked many questions. In the end FruBon ice-cream was served to all the Yuva members so as to have an idea about the products of the company. A feedback was also taken from the students.
