Extension Activity: Survey on Rural Entrepreneurship in Village Nevta, Jaipur

“Rural entrepreneurship can be defined as entrepreneurship emerging at village level which can take place in a variety of fields of endeavor such as business, industry, agriculture and acts as a potent factor for economic development”. For the purpose of finding such potent factors in rural areas, a village visit was organized by Department of Management: HRM & IB,  IIS (deemed to be University), Jaipur at Nevta on 14th September 2019. The students of The University have to visit different places such as school, hospital, Gram PanchayatOffice, shops etc. to conduct a survey on various parameters related to Rural Entrepreneurship in village Nevta and to understand the problems and challenges for rural entrepreneurship in the context of rural development. The visit has following objectives:-

  • To find out the need of support system for rural entrepreneurs in Nevta.
  • To find out any opportunity for establishing startups in rural areas.
  • To find out the requirement of need of skill development in rural areas like Nevta.
