Community engagement services are ones that combine learning goals and community service in ways that can enhance both student growth and the common good. It is a form of experiential education where learning occurs through a cycle of action and reflection as studentsseek to achieve real objectives for the community and deeper understanding and skills for themselves.Thus, it is included in MBA curriculum in which students have to complete their more than 15 hours in community engagement. For this university have tied up with different NGOs and MNCs to provide students great opportunities.A batch of 19 students are working with BOSCH Company under CSR department.

BOSCH in India has created a space for itself in a society not just as a technology and innovation pioneer, but also as a company that cares. The Bosch Social Engagement aims to make a difference in the communities in which Bosch operates. In Jaipur, its working for Holistic Village Development in 35 villages of Bassi and Sanganer Blocks. The program majorly focuses on 5 areas including economic development, quality education, health and nutrition, environment and water, infrastructure development in the villages.

A meeting was organized on February 24, 2020 for those students working with BOSCH. A batch of 16 students and two faculty coordinators (Dr. Seema Singh and Dr. Nivedita Singh) left the IISU Campus at 10:15 a.m. and reached the arena of BOSCH at 10:44 a.m. The management received them with warm welcome and guided through the site. The members of CSR department, Nikhil sir and Jyoti Ma’am introduced all the students to NGO coordinator’s.The aim of the meeting was to interact with the members of different NGO and to get familiar with the work assigned. The company’s CSR department is tied with the 6 NGOs and by the management faculty the students are divided into 6 groups with 3 to 4 members each. The different tasks are assigned to individual students who will perform and work under the supervision of their coordinators of the specific NGO. At the end of the session students got an opportunity to interact with their coordinators and know about the further working with them. The students found this meeting highly constructive and informative and got an amazing opportunity to work with them.After the session visit came to an end with a group photograph and students returned to the university campus at 12:40 p.m.
