  1. Understand the concept of Industrial Relations and will also be able to identify the characteristics of Indian Industrial Relation System.
  2. Describe the functions and various types of trade union in India.  Students will also be able to understand the methods of achieving the objectives along with the problems faced by trade unions in India.
  3. Enhance their knowledge about various forms of worker’s participation in India in detail.
  4. Gain basic understanding about the nature and classification of various types of industrial conflicts along with their impact on organization’s functioning.
  5. Describe the structure of ILO and will be able to identify the impact of ILO on Indian Labour.
