Objective of the Event: The objective of the activity was to briefly orient the students about the University and to acquaint them with 21st Century skills.
Description: On Day 2 of the Student Induction Programme, with warm welcome, Dr.Shweta Kashtiya familiarised the new students about University-Prospectus including Vision, Mission, COSD programme, MOOCs, Clubs, Activities, Committees, Forum, Sport, Career and Council Development. She also acquainted the students about the journey of the university.
People believe what you do not what you say adduced by high-principled keynote speaker Mr.Sandeep Menghani, Founder and Director of Yashaswi Bhav Training and Management Solutions, Jaipur. The lecture was conducted through various joyful learning based activities. Later, Dr.Ankita Jain honoured Mr.Sandeep Menghani with the memento.
Next, Dr. Roopam Kothari apprised the students with the “Sound Student Information System” and briefed about the curriculum of syllabi. Afterwards, Dr.Isha Sharma and Dr. Monika Singh carried out Brainstorming Activities and Management Games under which students were divided into groups where they were desired to build a newspaper tower together concluding the significance of teamwork and cooperation. Towards the end of the session, the participants were invited to showcase their talent.
Outcome of the event: The students gained insights about the University and learned various aspects of management.
