Objective of the Event: The objective of the activity was to motivate students to include yoga in their daily schedule which will help in their physical, mental and emotional stability.
Description:
The Department of Management of IIS (d\Deemed to be university) organised an Yoga Session for Post Graduate Students. The session was conducted in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education, where Ms. Janki Pareek, Yoga Trainer at University gave insights to students on how regular yoga practice can create mental clarity, calmness, relaxes the mind and sharpens the concentration. She also demonstrated some Asanas to the students one of them was vajrasana and it's importance how it make our lower body slim and fit with proper digestion of food they explained the benefits of each Asana.
They also explained us about the career perspective in this field. The university has commenced the new course MA in Yogic Management and explained everything about the course and the structure of the course. The session was ended by the laughter exercise to boost the energy and the enthusiasm in every student.
Outcome of the event: The students were able to understand the health benefits of practising yoga.
