Objective of the activity: The session aimed to increase the understanding of key provisions of Union Budget 2022-23.

Description: The Department of Management organized a session on Union Budget  2022-23 Simplified. The budget comes at a time when India’s is trying to boost growth back to pre-pandemic levels while tackling a third wave of COVID. The major objective of the event is to highlight the implications of new provisions for the economy as a whole, exploring probable impact on various industries as well as biggest stakeholder  of any governance i.e Common People. The highlights of this webinar were to make students aware about the Economy Survey, Digital economy, Affordable housing – PMAY allocation at Rs. 48,000 cr, Minimum Government and Maximum Governance, Innovation and R&D etc.

Outcome of the activity: The students got a thorough grasp of key provisions of Union Budget 2022-23. The session enabled them to explore the implications of these provisions on Economy, Industry and People.
