Objective of the activity: Discussion on Union Budget 2023

Description : Department of Management and CII YI YUVA club, of IIS university, organized a session on Union Budget 2023 on 8th February 2023. This session aimed to familiarize students with Union Budget 2023.

CA Naman Maloo, partner, Jain Shrimal & co. started the session by explaining the Union Budget and why it was introduced, its importance, and the procedure for passing Financial Budget in India. He then unfolds the Budget allocation for 2023.

Later, CA Akhil Jain, partner, Ummed Jain & co. talks about the Indirect Tax and all the chances mentioned in Union Budget 2023 related to Indirect Tax.

Mr. Rahul Kalani, Chair YI Jaipur, ended this session by giving a thank-you note to our speaker and the attendees.

Outcome of the activity: Students learned the highlight of Union Budget 2023 presented by our finance minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman.
