Objective of the Event: The objective of the activity was to familiarize the students with the cultural and heritage of Jaipur city.

Description:

The Department of Management of IIS (deemed to be university) organised a Heritage Drive in Jaipur for the students of MBA Sem 1 as a part of Orientation Program for the year 2022.

The students got an opportunity to visit the Heritage places of Jaipur under the supervision of Mrs. Purnima Sharma, Assistant professor, Department of HRM and Mr. Lokesh Shegal,  Assistant professor, Department of Travel and Tourism Management.

It was a fun-filled session conducted on 22^nd September from 9:30 AM to 1:00 PM, as visiting historical places can lead to a deeper engagement with historical events and gives students an opportunity to develop a fuller appreciation of past and development of knowledge & thoughts. Also, students were briefed about the history and facts of those places.

Outcome of the event: The visit was able to generate interests in historical buildings and develops observation skills among the students.
