Objective of the Event: The objective of the activity was to introduce the students of the significance of Corporate Internship paper offered by the Department.

Description:

The Department of Management, IIS (Deemed to be University) organised orientation programme for the students about Internship. Dr. Purnima Sharma informed about an internship opportunity offered by the Department as part of it’s curriculum.

Then she explained about the internship that it is a learning experience which offers meaningful, practical work related to an students in the field of study or career interest that gives an opportunity to explore and developing to learn new skills and also gains valuable work experience. And their are many ways out there to find internship by internet networking, contacting a company, palcement cell etc.

Thus, the purpose of this session was that the students should know about the internship and make use of it so that they can get a chance to work with some most innovative professionals in the industry to gain hands-on experience and their goal.

Outcome of the event: The session was very informative. The students gained understanding of the Corporate Internship to be undertaken at the end of second semester.
