Objective of the Event: To aware the students about the provisions of ‘Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013.

Name of Collaborating Agency: Department of HRM in collaboration with Internal Complaints Committee of the University

Description:

The ICC in collaboration with the Department of Management (HRM), organized a presentation activity on “Discrimination against Women” as part of “Discrimination against women Pakhwada”, to be observed as per AICTE guidelines. It aimed to create awareness about discrimination against women in economic and social life. The students were asked to make PPT presentations in group and express their view on the topic. Through their presentations students highlighted various provisions and Committees that are working towards elimination of discrimination against women.

Outcome of the event: Students gained understanding of the women’s rights against discrimination and the legal framework for ensuring safety and seeking solutions.
