Description:

The Central Library and Department of Management organized an online training session of Economic Outlook and Prowess IQ databases of Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy (CMIE) on 10 Nov, 2022 from 12 to 1 pm. Expert for the session was Mr. Sudarshan Negi, Business Relationship Manager, CMIE. He has Expertise in CMIE's financial databases on Indian-Economy and Corporate Sector across the segments like corprates, Banking & financial institutions, insurance companies, IIM's, IIT's and other educational & research institutions. Mr Negi is actively involved with educational and research institutes for demonstrating, imparting training and resolving queries of students, researchers and faculty members on CMIE's databases like Economic Outlook, Prowess IQ, Industries Outlook, States of India, CapEx, First Source, etc. In the beginning, he demonstrated the registration process for both CMIE and Prowess. Then he explained about the various features of both the platforms and their usefulness for MBA and BBA students. It was a very informative session.

Outcome of the activity: Students became aware about utility of CMIE and Prowess database for them
