Orientation Session

Department of HRM & IB organized an orientation session on 27th July, 2015 for all the PG students of the department in the AV Hall. The basic idea of organizing this session was to provide a common platform to all students of the department for interacting with each other and getting to know each other. There were various activities and games organized in this session.

The session begin with the welcome note given by Dr. Seema Singh Rathore (HOD, Dept. of HRM & IB) followed by an introductory session about the department. It was followed by a presentation on Time Management given by former HOD Dr. Ankita Jain (Senior Assistant Professor). Thereafter, various games and activities were organized to break the ice among the students and to make them interact with each other. For this purpose students were divided into various groups. In the first activity, Students were asked to write down the names of personalities shown in the presentation. The purpose behind this activity was to test the student’s observation power and memory. In the next activity they were asked to identify the logo followed by its brand ambassador and then they had to sing a song from the movie of that personality.

Towards the end of the session, Dean, Commerce and Management Department, Dr M K Sharma, enlightened the students with his motivational words.

All the students actively participated in the event and had a great time.
